Our method of cleaning (hot water extraction) is readily available to everyone, so are the the chemicals, and equipment and training. So then, what is it the sets us apart from the rest of the crowd who want to clean your carpets?
Our Commitment
We have the proper equipment, training, chemicals and knowledge and they are all things that you should demand from your cleaning professional. But simply possessing all of them isn't enough. You see knowing what to do and actually doing what you should do are two totally different things. We are committed to providing you with the best experience you can possibly have every time you see us.
So here is what we do
First, we always vacuum. Vacuuming the carpet removes the non-soluble dirt, pet hair, and other trash that causes matting and packing and would hinder the cleaning process. We use Kirby vacuum cleaners. Nothing works better than a Kirby. We take our time when vacuuming, the slower you go, the deeper you go, the more you pick up.
Then we apply Traffic Lane Cleaner to area we are going to start in. Using a proprietary mix that we let sit on the carpet while the equipment is set up, usually about five minutes. As we work we will spray the Traffic Lane Cleaner in advance so that it can dwell and go to work loosening the dirt. Some people will ask "Why is it necessary to pre-spray with Traffic Lane Cleaner if we use a cleaner in the General Cleaning solution.?" Pre-spraying the carpet gives the chemicals time to go to work on the dirt and grime. Like when you spray cleaner on your laundry and let it sit for a few minutes before putting it in the wash. An important fact to know is that this is a normal part of cleaning the carpet and no Professional Carpet Cleaner will ever charge extra for this.
As mentioned before we will then set up the equipment. We use Truck Mounted Bane Clene equipment. We bring all our own water. We can carry 125 gallons, enough to last all day long. Depending on the amount of dirt we can do from 6,000 to 8,000 square feet on one tank full of water. Bane Clene equipment is a low pressure system. Only about 160 psi. Bane Clene equipment uses less water than any other Truck Mount on the market today.
The machine itself stays on the Truck and we bring in the water and vacuum hoses into your home. Using a "Scrub Wand" (we don't actually scrub with it, it is just called that) we apply a rinsing agent. The rinsing agent and water mix suspends the dirt that was loosen by the pre-spray and the wand extracts the whole mess out to the van into a waste tank. for every stroke of rinse application, we extract twice. We extract 95% of the water that we use. So When we are done the carpet will be dry in 2 to 3 hours on average.
Spot cleaning is done on a as needed basis during the cleaning process. Some stains, like pet stains, will need pre-treated with a specific chemical, but with the highly developed chemicals we have today, most spots and stains will come out with the general cleaning process.
If there has been any furniture that was moved we will move it back to where it was, or at least as close as we can get it. Then put either Styrofoam blocks or small plastic squares we call "Tabs" under the furniture that has wood or metal legs.
Once were done turn on all the fans you have. If possible crack a window or door on each end of the house to create a draft. Keeping the air moving will dry the carpets much faster.
DON'T turn up the heat. That will cause it to get humid in the house and the carpet will take forever to dry.
That is the process in a nut shell it is simple and easy, a monkey could do it. Why then doesn't everyone do a fantastic job of cleaning if it is so easy?
